The crowd went wild at this year's Top Dog Model event! ALL of the finalists dazzled the judges and everyone had a blast. Artie the Chihuahua Mix won the crown in the small dog group and Oliver Lab took top prize in the big dog group. Congratulations ARTIE and OLIVER... you are Portland's Next Top Dog Models for 2009!

THANK YOU to everyone who participated, watched, cheered, sponsored and volunteered. Together, we all helped to raise about $5,000 for the Oregon Humane Society.

Top Model Contestants!

The 10 Big and 10 Small Finalists were chosen this morning for our 3rd annual Top Model Contest! The judges had SUCH a hard job judging close to 100 entries!! Over 4 hours (early this morning!!) they narrowed the field to 20 and we are moving on to the BIG event on Wednesday June 17th at the Hotel Monaco!!

The event is open to the public and begins at 6PM..Tickets are $10 at the door and all proceeds go to The Oregon Humane Society!! Food and "Muttinis" will be served thoroughout the evening along with raffles, auction items and guaranteed entertainment from our 4-footed contestants!

Thank you to everyone who entered this years contest and we hope you will all come out to support the finalists!

Helping American Eskimo's from the puppy Mill..

Three Lexidog locations had the opportunity to help the Oregon Humane Society with bathing some of the American Eskimo dogs that were rescued from a Puppy Mill in Kennewick Washington last week..

7 male dogs came to our Macadam location and were so cooperative with the scary humans as we tried to clean them up so that they can soon be put up for adoption..They were all very frightened but such sweet dogs that deserve wonderful forever homes!
